Chef Jean travelled all over the world before setting in Malaysia five years ago.
He has cooked for famous French actress Sophie Marceau and was part of the kitchen team that catered food for Queen Elisabeth II when the Queen was in Toulouse, France.
It was his father, a butcher, who inculcated in him an appreciation of how a meal is cooked and the taste of food. This inspired him to be a chef, and had also led him to some exciting workplaces including Le Jules Verne, a famous gastronomy restaurant in Paris and Sokha Angkor Resort Siem Reap, Cambodia.
He was also a chef lecturer in Taylor’s University during two years before opening his own company where he is executive chef and director.
Currently he is sharing his time between cooking classes, catering, private chef and consulting.
