Mona VASILE, Executive Chef of Mercure Bucharest City Center is working for the Group for 15 years. She started her career as a cook in Sofitel Bucharest (actual Pullman Bucharest). In 2014 she was appointed Executive Chef of Mercure Bucharest City Center, the first Mercure hotel opened in Romania. Mona has a rich experience on international and regional cuisine. She always proven a great desire to succeed, continuously pushing her limits and taking new challenges with a great ambition. In 2017 Mona successfully applied and has been selected to participate in the BIRD Contest in Paris. The contest is named after the BIRD restaurant, located at the top of AccorHotel’s headquarters in Paris, welcoming AccorHotels talented Chefs, Pastry Chefs and Sommeliers from around the world. As a selected F&B talent, Mona had the opportunity to create, show and let experience her own menu with all restaurant’s guests for a full week.
