Tres Français (which is translated as "very French") is traditional France, regional France, France "at home" which embodied the spirit, character, habits and traditions of not only one of the best cuisines in the world but also French view of life. The genuine French art of living "by inspiring to love the world and each other more".
Imagine: you are sitting on the terrace overlooking the awakening city… Or inside, in the Art Hall, on the seat by the window overlooking Kostelna Street, one of the best streets in Kyiv. You are listening to liquid sounds of French songs, talks at the next table, a "carafe d'eau" (a jug of water) and a basket with the newly-baked baguette appear before you. Our famous Lyonese soup is steaming. You have a glass of white Cote du Rhone or red Burgundy in your hand, and you are already somewhere in a nice brasserie in one of Paris streets in your dreams.
You will find a place corresponding to your today's mood and plans in any of our 4 parlors. The romantic Jardin or cosy Art Hall are suited for a date or confession of love, the democratic Library is the best place for a business meeting and, of course, the small Montmartre is suited for a morning cup of coffee with a croissant. We will give you a tour of the restaurant with pleasure; we promise you, we have many things to tell you about!
Restaurant et fromagerie Tres Français is a restaurant of French, in particular regional cuisine. The team of the Family travels every year over France in search of gastronomic inspiration, and the fruit of such travels evolves into authentic regional menus: Menu of Basques, Côte-d'Azur, Corsica, Bourgogne, Bordeaux and many other ones.
Since Famille Tres Français is a family, we attach great importance to whom? – Right, to children of course! Children's menu, high chairs, coloring books, picture books, including French ones, the Children's Day with free workshops and treats every Sunday. And the Culinary School for children every month.
Not only children cook in our restaurant The "adult" Culinary School Très is also a feather in our cap!
What is more, Tres Français is not only about gastronomy, but also monthly photography and art exhibitions, literary evenings, meet-the-artist sessions and other cultural events. And also about our summer fairs in Kostelna Street, but this is quite a different story…
More correctly, a part of our common history, where our guests, partners, our team are one family in which it is usual to tell each other "bonjour" when we meet and not to say goodbye but tell "a bientot" or "see you soon" when we leave.
