Born in Haïti, Geoffroi our Chef was soon adopted by a French couple before moving to France at the age of one. Chance has it that his new home was Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy, where he could naturally be brought up in a gastronomic environment, and be blessed with hearty meals prepared by his adoptive mother. This background pushed him towards cooking, with various working experiences in France, Switzerland and the UK. His repertoire ranges from simple brasseries to Michelin starred restaurants under the guidance of renowned chef such as Patrick Henriroux, Christian Tête d’Oie or Alain Ducasse to name but a few.
Geoffroi’s life path is reflected in his cuisine, showing his ability to adapt and learn from different expositions, which he wishes to share through Cocott’.
