A story started in 1951
It was back in year 1951, just after the second world war, when two best friends, Marie and Yolande decided to open a small shop together in the heart of Antibes; a Mediterranean town in the South of Franc
The two ladies exerted their wholehearted dedication to run the French Épicerie, proposing groceries and liquors.
The level of service they offered and the homely ambiance of the shop spread quickly in the place and L’Epicerie Gourmande des Vignes became a destination. Everyone wanted to try the home-made traditional delicacies, to taste unforgettable wine, and to enjoy an exceptional coffee.
With the quality and the affordability of food matching the friendly level of service, L’Epicerie became not just a famous shop but also a second home for everyone in the region.
Christian, Marie’s grandson, came to the Philippines with the vision of reviving the concept of L’Epicerie Gourmande des Vignes and honoring the memory of Marie and Yolande.
Ten thousand kilometers from its birthplace in the South of France, L'Epicerie Gourmande propose a unique assortment of French groceries and wines. A cozy place from breakfast to late night to enjoy the taste of the French lifestyle.
The first branch was opened in Festival Mall Alabang, 18 month ago.
A new one just opened last January 2019 in BGC – Serendra 2.
Since the first days, L’Epicerie encountered a wonderful support from customers, whether Filipinos or Expatriates and we are planning to develop this successful story even further in the Philippines.
