Amiel's love affair in cooking started when he was just 12 years old, when he enrolled in a short course and stumbled upon a lifelong passion. He was trained across the world under talented chefs specializing in French cuisine.
In 2010 he made his way to India, where he helped setup Cafe Noir, in UB city, and expanded the brand to five outlets across the city.
Today Amiel's eclectic style draws mainly from European and Mediterranean cuisines and his classical French training. He strives to innovate with fresh, local produce with an emphasis on clean flavors and seasonality.
