Chef Florian brings a wealth of French culinary expertise to the acclaimed Orient8 French and Pan-Asian Restaurant at the 5 star Hotel Mulia Senayan Jakarta.
Chef Florian started his culinary journey as an apprentice under Michelin Star Chef Jean-Marie Gauthier at the famous “Hotel du Palais” in Biarritz in the South West of France. He then continued his training through France for more the 10 years learning from and working with some of the most Acclaimed Chefs in the world such as Jacques Maximen in the South of France, Michel Rochedy in Courchevel and then in Paris at Le Bristol with Eric Frechon and Hotel George V, both 3 Michelin Stars.
He then moved to the USA, having been offered an opportunity to work under Master Chef and World Renowned Restaurateur Chef Daniel Boulud at the “Daniel” Restaurant in New York. It was here during his five years tenure that Chef Florian refined his fine dining cuisine skills and also learned about Restaurant Management and large business operations.
