A common passion for wining and dining at soulful, delicious restaurants brought together a group of friends who decided to open a French Bistro. Using their friendship, passion, and combined skill set, the founding team turned their idea into reality. In 2009, Couqley was born in Beirut to Ziad, Patrick and Chef Alexis!
The name Couqley was chosen in reference to the family name of one of the co-founders, Frenchman Chef Alexis Couquelet. It carries his culinary expertise, high standards, and love for French cuisine.
Some of our most loved dishes are our Steak-Frites in a signature sauce, Tuna Tartare, Escargots, and our Truffle-Mushroom Pasta. Our most popular dessert is the Pain Perdu, a French toast with caramel and gourmet ice cream. Hungry yet?
